Humor-driven TikTok content that built a car repair shop's brand from zero
A family car repair shop with no social media, no website, and no ad budget built 90k TikTok followers and a video watched 2.1 million times.

Our client
@warsztatsamochodowy, known on social media as "O, ZGAsł?" (roughly, "Oh, it stalled?"), is a family business that has operated locally in the Podkarpackie region since 1994. The brand offers the full range of automotive services: tire service, air conditioning, electronics, vehicle repair, and inspections.
It's a family business in every sense of the word — day to day the shop is staffed by mechanics who together have built its local reputation among customers across the region. Despite all those years of experience, when the work with Social Lama began the brand had no social media channels and no website of its own.
The challenge
The client came to us with no social media channels, no website, and no ad budget — and set one specific goal: build brand recognition.
- Building brand recognition from zero — with no base of engaged followers and no money for paid promotion.
- Focusing everything on TikTok as a platform with strong viral potential, and one where repair shops were practically absent.
- Building humor-driven content around everyday situations in the shop, the kind that makes viewers think "same here."
- Backing the entertainment up with expert content that builds trust in the brand as an automotive authority.

Our approach
Starting with no social media, no website, no ad budget
When we started working together, the brand had no online presence at all — no social channels, no website, no ad budget. The client set one specific goal: build recognition.
We bet everything on TikTok. Our research showed that repair shops were practically absent from the platform, even though they had strong viral potential — showing what goes on behind the scenes of a mechanic's work was something completely new for users, previously unavailable outside specialist blogs.
A mechanic's humor in trending formats
We built the content on the simplest and most effective idea there is — showing the daily life of the shop with humor. The material draws on situations almost everyone who has ever taken a car to a repair shop has been through, and each video is meant to trigger one reaction in the viewer: "same here."
We actively use popular TikTok trends — trending sounds and formats matched to whatever music and challenges are hot at the moment — which lifts organic reach.

Expertise that builds trust
There's no shortage of expert content either. Among other things, we produced a post where followers could ask Adam the mechanic a question.
The post ran with no paid support, and still generated nearly 800 likes and 244 comments within a few days, with reach passing 25k. Most importantly, it drew concrete inquiries about car repairs in the comments.

A community built around the brand
Beyond the teenagers — a group you can't screen out on TikTok, and one that could become customers before long — we gathered a real, engaged community: other mechanics who happily weigh in on their own daily work, customers sharing stories from their shop visits, people close to mechanics comparing notes on how hard the job is, and car enthusiasts.
You can see it in the comments under the videos — viewers treat the brand like a friend down at the shop: they praise it, they agree, they bring up memories of their own.
